Oak & Light
Renovation
A familiar home, reimagined.
01 / THE IDEAA PLACE WITH PURPOSE
More light.
More life. More home.
The brief
Make the kitchen the place everyone naturally gathers. Keep the sense of familiarity, while opening the room to daylight, conversation, and the way the home is used today.
The response
A generous island anchors the room without interrupting its flow. Warm oak cabinetry creates a calm backdrop, while the window wall brings the garden into the daily rituals of cooking and gathering.

A material palette
you can feel.
The movement of natural travertine meets the quiet grain of white oak. Soft plaster and simple metal details keep the space tactile, practical, and easy to live with. The beauty is in how the materials meet.
