Field's Landscaping

Garden design & build

A garden that feels like it all belongs.

Long garden with curved borders and a dining terrace

From an overlooked lawn to a space you spend time in, Field’s brings the layout, planting and construction together around your everyday life.

Room for everyday living

Dinner outside. A slower Sunday. Space to play.

The best layout makes those moments feel effortless. Seating, open space and routes are planned together, with planting giving each area its own character.

  • A layout shaped around the way you use the garden.
  • Connections between the house, gathering spaces and quieter corners.
  • Planting that softens the structure without swallowing usable space.

Keep what gives it character

Not everything needs a fresh start.

A mature tree, a familiar wall or a favorite place to sit can anchor the new design. We assess what is worth retaining and build the new relationships around it.

The right scale of change

A thoughtful plan. Not a bigger project by default.

Recommendations respond to the space you have and the change you want, not a fixed formula.

Connect what is already there

Bring useful existing features into a more coherent layout.

What it brings
Retains character and avoids replacing elements that still serve you.
What we account for
Existing levels, surfaces and planting can place limits on the new layout.

Rework the whole garden

Coordinate paths, planting and living areas from one overall plan.

What it brings
Creates room to resolve disconnected spaces together.
What we account for
More removals and installation can mean greater disruption and scope.

Build in considered phases

Plan the whole direction, then identify sensible stopping points.

What it brings
Can align a larger ambition with priorities over time.
What we account for
Repeated setup and access can add cost; not every design divides neatly.

What Field’s handles

One coordinated project, from ground to garden.

The proposal defines the work and responsibilities before installation starts.

Our focus is residential gardens, planting, patios and paths. Pools, structural engineering and specialist utility work are outside this offer.

01

Site and layout

We assess the usable space, access, existing features and levels, then develop a layout around your priorities.

02

The choices that shape it

Planting and surface recommendations balance the intended look, site conditions, practical use and care expectations.

03

Installation and handover

Agreed preparation, planting, paving and finishing are coordinated in sequence, with a handover for the completed work.

Planning the investment

A clear scope starts with the real site.

Your quote accounts for preparation, access and selections.

01

Space and preparation

Area, existing surfaces, removals and ground preparation influence both the work and the sequence.

02

Access and detailing

Restricted access, changes of level and intricate layouts can add handling and construction requirements.

03

Selections and planting

Surface materials, planting size and density all affect the scope. Options are explained against your priorities before selections are agreed.

A few useful answers

Before we get started.

Can you keep our favorite plants?

Retaining established plants is part of the initial assessment. Health, space, the new layout and the effects of nearby work guide recommendations; not every plant can be retained or moved successfully.

Can the garden be completed in stages?

Where the layout and access allow it, Field’s can propose a sequence with useful stopping points. The proposal explains any repeated setup, temporary finishes or dependencies rather than assuming phasing is cheaper.

A garden starts with a conversation

More life. Just outside.

A whole new garden or one corner that needs attention? We can help give your ideas a place to grow.
