Understand the difference. Explore your options. Make a decision that feels like yours.
A THOUGHTFUL STARTING POINT
Your expression, thoughtfully considered.
Some visitors want to talk about expression lines. Others are curious about volume or definition. These are different conversations, and they do not automatically lead to the same treatment.
Botulinum toxin products temporarily reduce activity in targeted muscles, which can soften certain expression lines. They are prescription medicines, not fillers.
More about wrinkle relaxers
The product, treatment area and medical assessment matter. Discuss approved uses, how much movement you want to retain and the possibility of unwanted effects. Treatment cannot promise a particular expression or result.
Dermal fillers
Fillers add volume beneath the skin in specific areas. Different materials and products have different uses; more volume is not necessarily the right answer.
More about dermal fillers
Discuss the proposed material, placement and alternatives. Some fillers are difficult or impossible to remove. A qualified provider should explain both common effects and rare but serious complications before consent.

YOUR VISIT
No need to arrive with a treatment in mind.
Bring the questions you have been saving and tell us what you do not want to change. Your first visit can be a conversation only.
Before your visit
Have your current medication and supplement list, allergies and treatment history available. Ask the treating clinician for preparation instructions. Do not stop a prescribed medicine on your own.
Comfort during treatment
Injections may be uncomfortable. Ask what comfort measures are available for the specific procedure and what sensations should be reported immediately.
After your visit
Ask for written aftercare, expected changes and a direct contact for concerns. Recovery and follow-up depend on the product and treatment area.
IT’S GOOD TO ASK
The questions on your mind.
You can ask all of these again in person.
Are wrinkle relaxers and fillers the same?
No. Wrinkle relaxers affect targeted muscle activity; fillers add volume. They have different purposes, limitations and risk profiles. A consultation helps clarify whether either is appropriate.
Will I still look like myself?
Your preferences guide the discussion, but no provider can guarantee an exact appearance. Be specific about what you want to preserve, and ask to see realistic examples of the proposed approach.
When would I see a change, and how long would it last?
Timing and duration vary by product, area and individual. Ask for the expected timeline for your specific plan, including when swelling may affect how a result looks and when a review is appropriate.
What risks should I understand?
Bruising, swelling and pain can occur. Fillers can rarely enter a blood vessel and cause tissue damage, vision loss or stroke. Botulinum toxin products have their own risks, including effects beyond the injection site. Review the exact product information with a qualified clinician.
Can everyone have injectables?
No. Health history, allergies, medications, pregnancy or breastfeeding and other circumstances may affect suitability. The assessment may lead to an alternative, a delay or no treatment.
What if I have an important event coming up?
Mention the date during your consultation. Allow time for assessment, possible side effects and review rather than assuming an appointment immediately before an event is suitable.
Is treatment included in the free consultation?
No. The initial consultation is complimentary; any treatment is quoted separately before you decide. There is no obligation to go ahead.
