THE TREATMENT MENU

Skin renewal

A clearer understanding of texture, tone and the treatments you may be considering.

A THOUGHTFUL STARTING POINT

Different approaches. One considered plan.

Skin renewal is a conversation about your skin, not a single treatment. Microneedling and chemical peels work differently, and suitability matters more than choosing the most intensive option.

UNDERSTAND YOUR OPTIONS

A closer look at skin renewal.

Microneedling

Fine needles create controlled punctures in the skin, prompting a healing response and collagen production. It may be considered for concerns such as certain scars or uneven texture.

More about microneedling

Results develop over time rather than appearing fully at the appointment. The device, depth and treatment plan require professional assessment. This menu does not imply that radiofrequency or PRP treatments are offered.

Chemical peels

A chemical solution exfoliates skin. Peels differ in strength and depth, so preparation, recovery and the concerns they address are not the same for every peel.

More about chemical peels

Discuss the exact peel, your skin tone, previous reactions and the anticipated recovery before scheduling. A stronger peel is not automatically a better fit.

FROM FIRST QUESTION TO NEXT STEP

A clear path, at your pace.

  1. Understand your skin

Review your concerns, routine, prior procedures and history of pigmentation or healing problems.

    Suitability before selection
  2. Choose an approach

Compare the proposed treatment, preparation, recovery, number of visits and total cost.

A plan you can prepare for
  3. Review and adjust

Follow individualized aftercare and review progress before deciding on another session.

YOUR VISIT

Make room for recovery, too.

The right plan needs to fit your calendar as well as your goals. Talk about work, exercise, sun exposure and events before choosing a date.

Preparing your skin

Your clinician should provide instructions tailored to the procedure and your current products. Share any prescription skin treatments and recent procedures rather than stopping or adding products yourself.

What the visit involves

Expect a review of the plan and consent, skin preparation, the agreed procedure and aftercare guidance. The treatment area and approach determine the time required.

Looking after your skin

Ask which products to use or avoid, how to protect treated skin and when to resume your routine. Follow the treating clinician’s instructions rather than generic online recovery schedules.

IT’S GOOD TO ASK

The questions
on your mind.

You can ask all of these again in person.

Which treatment is better for me?

That depends on the concern, your skin, health history and tolerance for recovery. An assessment is needed; a photograph or menu description is not enough to decide.

Is there downtime?

There can be. Microneedling may cause redness or darkening, swelling and discomfort. Peel recovery varies considerably with depth. Ask what is expected for the exact treatment proposed.

How quickly will results appear?

Microneedling changes develop gradually as the skin responds. Peel timelines depend on the type and recovery. Neither service guarantees a particular result or a fixed date for improvement.

Will I need a series?

Possibly, but not everyone needs the same number of visits. Ask why a series is being proposed, how progress will be reviewed and what the overall cost would be.

What about darker skin tones?

Discuss experience treating your skin tone and the risk of pigment changes. Suitability and technique need individual consideration; do not rely on a blanket claim that every procedure suits everyone.

Are these treatments risk-free?

No. Microneedling can cause infection, scarring or persistent pigment changes, especially when performed improperly. Peels also carry risks, including pigment changes and scarring. A qualified clinician should explain procedure-specific risks.

Can I combine this with injectables or a facial?

Mention all planned treatments. The provider should determine whether they can be combined and how they should be spaced, rather than booking several procedures together without assessment.
