Alder & Stone · Renovation & design
Beyond a beautiful room.
Giving homeowners a way to explore the thinking behind a renovation.
Concept case study. A fictional brand and business scenario, not a commissioned client project or measured-results claim.

The business scenario
Making the business easier to choose.
A kitchen and bathroom remodeling studio with service information, project stories and a clear working process.
What stands in the customer’s way
A room photograph can catch attention, but it does not explain project fit, design reasoning or what working together would involve. The website needed to connect inspiration with practical confidence.
The customer’s perspective
What customers need to know.
- Recognize a style and project relevant to their home.
- Understand decisions behind the finished rooms.
- Explore the process before starting a substantial project.
What we created
A design with the customer in mind.
- 01
Make the work the starting point.
Large interiors, editorial type and a restrained green-and-neutral palette establish a considered studio identity. Opening copy has its own space, so its readability does not depend on the photograph behind it.
The intended benefit: the work is inviting and the message remains easy to read.
- 02
Keep services and projects distinct.
Kitchens and Bathrooms are directly discoverable, while a compact project index helps visitors find relevant stories. Project categories provide a useful choice without overcrowding the header with individual jobs.
The intended benefit: a homeowner can move from the service to an example that fits.
- 03
Explain choices, not only finishes.
Image-led project stories describe materials and design decisions. Supporting scope and rationale sit in clearly labeled disclosures, allowing a quick visual scan or closer investigation.
The intended benefit: the website demonstrates a thoughtful approach to the work.
- 04
Address the working relationship.
Process and studio content cover preparation, communication, approvals and handoff. A relevant inquiry gathers project context while keeping technical coordination with the company.
The intended benefit: visitors can picture both the renovation and the experience of commissioning it.

What this work demonstrates
Editorial design, project storytelling and clear service journeys that show the thinking behind an image-led business.
Scope & context
Direct service pages, a filterable project collection, detailed stories, studio/process content and an inquiry demonstration. Rooms and project histories are concept content, not commissioned renovation evidence.
The benefits described here are design intentions, not measured business results. This concept demonstrates the work and reasoning Eventide can bring to an appropriate project.
